Peranakan cuisine or Nyonya cuisine comes from the Peranakans, descendants of early Chinese migrants who settled in Penang, Malacca, Singapore and Indonesia, inter-marrying with local Malays. In Baba Malay, a female Peranakan is known as a nonya (also spelled nyonya ), and a male Peranakan is known as a baba. Nasi goreng is a well-known Malay dish in Singapore where I live, and it is usually called 马来炒饭 (literally "Malay fried rice") here. Since Indonesian culture is culturally similar to Malay culture, I don't see anything quirky or quaint about translating "nasi goreng" as 印度尼西亚炒饭.
